Our goal at MDVIP is to literally change the delivery of primary care in America. We will do this by creating a partnership between doctors and patients, built on exceptional personalized and preventive care.
Every day we aim to improve the lives of physicians by enabling them to focus on prevention and wellness, and improve the lives of patients by empowering them to live their best life possible. MDVIP is the national network of physicians who practice preventive and personalized healthcare, not just the detection and treatment of disease as in most traditional primary care practices. With prevention as the cornerstone of its program, MDVIP has proven that its carefully chosen affiliated physicians provide exceptional care and achieve exceptional outcomes. These outcomes include lower hospitalization rates. MDVIP currently serves more than 125,000 patients through over 365 affiliated physicians located in 28 states plus the District of Columbia (Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Washington, D.C.). The MDVIP model limits the practice to 600 patients. In a practice of this size, physicians have the time to provide prevention, early detection, and treatment. This level of care is not possible in a traditional primary care practice of 2,500 patients.
First and largest company to provide direct-pay service for medical care. $1500 to 1800 a year per patient. MDVIP splits annual fee 25/75 with the physician. Prevention approach.EditTraditional Clinic Mission Statements
